Reaching the Community One HEART TO HEART at a Time

GOSPEL TRACKS
Heart To Heart a Ministry for Women sees the need in our communities for spiritual manna (food), just as a mother sees the needs of her children.  Our Great Father in heaven expects His people to meet the needs of the lost through sharing the Gospel with others. 

Heart to Heart a Ministry for Women has and continues to pass out well written truths about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by Raymond P. Brunk whose ministry is Gospel Sunrise, Inc. (GospelSunrise@Planetcomm.net).  Hundreds have been fed the meat of God through these awesome tracks written in English and Spanish. “After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go.  He told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field”.  Luke 10:1-2 NIV

FEEDING THE HUNGRY
Heart to Heart a Ministry for Women goes out weekly to feed women and men who live under the Pierce/Gray elevated bridge in downtown Houston, Texas.  God placed this vision on my heart for Heart to Heart a Ministry for Women when I noticed working at my job pharmaceutical reps would provide lunch for the doctors and staff.  The left over food would be left for staff to take home or the cleaning staff to throw out and there was more thrown out than taken home. 

So I started buying plates from Sam’s wholesale to make for the homeless people who live under the bridge.  I use this opportunity not only to feed them physical food but feed them spiritual food through the Gospel tracks that we receive from our brother in Christ Raymond Brunk as well as offering them the prayer of salvation as they read the attached prayer inside the plates. 

God has pricked the hearts of others to make donations to support this outreach.  “Share your food with everyone who is hungry; share your home with the poor and homeless. Give clothes to those in need; don't turn away your relatives”. Isaiah 58:7 CEV

CLOTHING DONATIONS
Heart to Heart a Ministry for Women has gone and continues to go beyond the walls of the bible study class to help cloth those in need women, men and children. 

During the time of Hurricane Katrina evacuations, Heart to Heart a Ministry for Women partnered with other Houston women in the community and donated clothing items, personal hygiene items, baby items, scriptures of encouragement (Gen 45:5, 18-25) as well as informational resources to help bring awareness of state, city and community assistance. 

Such resources were helpful numbers to Louisiana State Medicaid forms to help medical providers enroll in Louisiana state Medicaid, Texas State Medicaid for enrollment benefits, Texas Department of Human Resources, FEMA online application web site, City of Houston resources such as Metro tokens, city libraries, housing locations, school locations for enrollment of children and employment opportunities.
