Purpose: To nurture women with spiritual manna God provides each day. Committed
to constant prayer, serving and nurturing through biblical teachings.
Heart to Heart was given to me several years ago by
God to do as a home based small group bible study ministry. Of
course I was not obedient to the call of God, because
I took the ministry to my church thinking there are others
who are more knowledgeable in the bible and had teaching
backgrounds. God did allow this to happen and provided
however it was not the plan he gave me. The ministry
was every Saturday from 10:30am to 11:30am on December
1, 2001 headed by Tamika Williams a young Minister coming
up in my church.
She was perfect and all I had
to do is be faithful in coming and be blessed. Not! God
moved her to a different state after two months of study. This
is what happens when we are not obedient to His calling
on our lives. For seven months not a single bible
study took place. On September 21, 2002 God moved
Kassandra Balque to teach us through the end of the year
of 2002. Again because of my disobedience, God
allowed a change to take place, a new pastor and new
changes. From January 2003 to August 2003, I had
been wrestling with God about the ministry staying alive. Was
it seven months again? Hum!! On August 21, 2003
I said not my will but your will God for it’s not
about me it’s all about you. God gave me
vision, topics, time of study, day of the week, new start
date, study material and of course members.
The
bible says when two or more gather in my name I’m
in the mist. This is the scripture that carried
me to now because I stopped being afraid and starting
believing and trusting God in what he was telling me
from the very beginning. On the first Saturday
of December 2003 is when Heart to Heart a Ministry for
Women started the way God intended it to be. Because
of my faithfulness to God’s promise He has blessed
Heart to Heart a Ministry for Women to become a DBA,
study in a facility for No Charge that will handle growth
in the ministry, grown the membership, inspired women
to spread/share His word and the ministry with others,
and most of all continues to give me vision for the ministry
to stay alive and never die. Only what you do for
Christ will last.
This is my personal testimony
of the calling on my life. I know God is not done
with me yet, but while I have warm blood running through
my veins I have made a promise to God to carry out His
purpose for my life.
